Accommodation consists of one to three bedrooms, living/dining room with furniture, rugs or carpets and fitted kitchen. Ground floor accommodation throughout – except Mill Cottage with split level up to the bedrooms and Bothy Cottage and the Farmhouse with bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. All are adequately furnished with usual kitchen utensils and equipment – electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, iron and ironing board. There is also a dishwasher in each cottage except Shearing, Stable.

Granary Cottage – 4 people – no cot – 1 double bedroom -1 twin bedroom – ground floor
GROUP 4
Byre Cottage – 6 people – 1 double bedroom – 2 twin bedrooms – ground floor
GROUP 5
Farmhouse – 6 people – 1 double bedroom – 2 twin bedrooms and bathroom on first floor – separate sitting room and dining room – shower room on ground floor – large kitchen/diner – walled garden.
Cots and high chairs – no extra charge but must be booked in advance

OCCUPATION – is from 16.00 hours and vacation no later than 10.00 hours on the day of departure. These times may only be altered by special arrangement in advance and during the period of the winter time table for ferry sailings. This is to allow sufficient time to prepare for new arrivals.
HEATING & ELECTRICITY – All cottages are equipped with one or more storage radiators to give background warmth and there is one convector heater in each room. We are very sorry to have to do this but have been left with no option as the electricity charges have trebled. We have decided to put PAYG meters in each cottage to cover any extra usage by guests, we will credit the meter with a suitable amount and any extra will have to be paid with a card. Instructions will be to hand. We hope this doesn’t inconvenience anyone too much and thank you for your understanding.
LAUNDRY – There is a launderette on site with honesty box for payment – washing machine and tumble dryer.
PONY TREKKING – Available during the summer months – bookings and payments arranged on site. FISHING – Free for Killiechronan Guests
DOGS – For practical reasons we can only allow a maximum of two dogs per cottage. There is a charge of £30.00 per week per dog. Dogs must be kept under control at all times as there are many sheep, ponies and cattle on the Estate. Exercise must be out with the mown areas. Please do not allow your dog(s) to climb on the furniture within the cottages. We reserve the right to charge for any additional cleaning required or any damage caused due to there being a dog(s) in the cottage. We also reserve the right to have any dog removed from the cottages if it is causing a nuisance to any guest, staff, neighbouring property owner or livestock on the Estate.
TELEVISION – Is not available in any of the cottages.
DOMESTIC ARRANGEMENTS – All cottages are fully equipped including a duvet, sheets, blanket and two pillows per bed. If you require more please bring them with you. Only a limited amount of domestic cleaning materials and toilet rolls will be provided, if you have additional requirements you should bring them with you. There is a bath and shower in every cottage. Please enquire about any other equipment or facilities that you may require as we would like to help if at all possible.
YOU SHOULD BRING – Towels, tea towels and any additional pillows or pillow slips.
COTS AND HIGHCHAIRS – can be provided but must be requested in advance (please see booking form). Bedding for cots is not provided.
CLEANING – Each cottage is cleaned before your arrival and it would be appreciated if you could leave the cottage in a similar condition. If extra cleaning is required or an inventory check necessary, due to items being moved between cottages, we reserve the right to make a further charge.
BREAKAGES – We reserve the right to charge for any breakages or damage done to any property or equipment.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT – Please note there is no effective public transport to or near Killiechronan.
WATER SUPPLY – Is private from the Killiechronan Hill and consequently we cannot guarantee quality or quantity. It is recommended that water is boiled before drinking.
MOBILE SIGNALS / WI-FI – EE and Vodafone at Killiechronan. O2 in Salen village. Wi-Fi available in cottages but can be slow because of location.
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke any booking, which in our sole opinion may be unsuitable without giving a reason and no correspondence will be entered into.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE ADEQUATE TRAVEL INSURANCE IN PLACE AS DEPOSIT PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR ANY REASON
AFTER A DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND A BOOKING CONFIRMED, AN ADMINISTRATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED (CURRENTLY £20.00) FOR ANY AMENDMENTS SUCH AS CHANGE OF DATE OR COTTAGE
